Yes, NC is supposed to get 5 - 8 inches. For us, that is about 1 years worth. Bring on Spring!

Well I woke up to this when I got up this morning.
They said Tn. might get some but we never do. I was really surprised.
My blooming daffodils were covered. We had such nice warm temps all week this was a shock.

DQ! That looked like my backyard this morning! Do you live where I live? Laughing

The snow has mostly melted now. It is just cold. 30F now and dropping fast.

Still got over a foot on the ground. 20 Degrees. What's a few more inches? Bah! 20-30 MPH winds? Big deal!
Snow banks are still 7-8 feet high at the ends of everyone's driveway.
It's only March 1st. The big Blizzard of 1993 was on March 3rd.
Spring is not until May. Grab a hot toddy, and put your feet up by the fireplace. Smile

We got a light dusting here just south of the Mason Dixon line last night.The talking heads on the television are breathlessly going on about the 5 to 8 inches we are expecting tonite.Doesn't really bother me any.As long as it is snow and not ice.

Snow

what is this sn ow I have never seen it, well there was this once when it got really cold and for about 5 minutes this fine cold watery stuff fell to the ground and melted immedaitely

Now that my fridge is frost free I dont even get to open the freezer and pretend any more Crying or Very sad

What's that Question

No snow around here (but then again, I might just be on another continent).
Just rain and clouds around here ... and then I still have to get ready to go to work by bike (yuk).

Where I live we mostly get a daily dose of 5-12cm per day during the winter, sometimes more.

Not a flake, nada, blue skies and sunshine though I can see white hills and know its snowing in the middle of Scotland and sleeting in the SW of England.

In the part of MD where I live at, we got about maybe 6 inches. I was hoping for more, but a least we got some this year. The past couple of winters it's been miserable cold and no snow. At least the snow gives it a reason for it to be so cold.

I am no looking forward to summer now. Bring on the lazy days of summer. pool and tanning..... can not wait!

I've easily got 3 feet of snow at my place. My driveway is sheer ice, the other day I was driving in and my car diddnt turn it just flew straight into a snow bank Laughing
