Hey I just won 100,000. Got an almost real check for 3950 to deposit. The rest of the 100,000 comes later, as soon as I send a few thou. Since I bet they dump these cell numbers immediately, I thought I could at least pass this on. So far, they still think I am real. I am supposed to call up Monday to get my instructions on getting the rest of the money. Two men are answering, one may have an indian accent. The current number is 416-856-0197 and is originated from Toronto. I've had about 10 of my friends call up to try to register for the $25,000 fishing tournament. He keeps insisting that they have the wrong number and he is not with any fishing event. Maybe you guys could call to register?

Of course it isn't a real check. But can I just ask how you got it? We do encourage safe baiting here. No real life info to connect you with your baiting. How did you get a check without a RL connection? Many here that collect the fake checks use one of the anonymous P.O. Boxes that are available to the premium members of Eater. There is then no way for the scammers to connect who they sent the checks to with the baiter.

As far as the phone number or other information about your lad, we kind of have a policy here that if you want others to bait or phone a lad, we need to make sure it is a lad. Not you, of course, but others might have the swell idea to post their ex-wife's or ex-gf/bf's phone number or email address, just as a prank. If you could post up your lad's email with the headers for us, I am sure someone would love to make his phone ring off the hook.

Being from the frozen North myself...and spec. Toronto....I'd love to call these lads....if in fact they are lads as pointed out.
