Short of a serious encounter with EFCC I doubt that there is anything else that can be done to the lad.

Great work all round guys, best bait ever. Something tells me it isn't dead yet. He still believes in all the characters, just not 100%. Something could persuade him, perhaps a piece of information from another source. How about if a third party bait happens to indirectly mention they met Alf in Niger, something like that, he might just up sticks and go.

Maybe he just needs longer for the scars (mental, physical + financial) from previous adventures to heal.

Your right the lad is still around. Bu1ch sent some emails over the weekend after he was fully awake bad move. The message made far to much sense, no response.
This morning Bu1ch sent nonsense (no coffee, working half the night), 37 minutes later the lad returned nonsense.

Been an interesting few days. The lad was very nervious about who might find out about the bank account sent to Bu1ch. The account was not in the lad's name. May have been an unregistered bank.

^^^ I like the mass bait idea. We are essentially done. He is afraid of his shadow, WU and Money Gram are having problems and bank accounts are disappearing. He hasn't recently responded to an unsolicited message. master was having the same problem with Mr. G messages.

He responds to nonsense better than any logical approach.

A mass bait to one of his email addresses, total confusion. He has to be scamming, it would be nice to get another addy to mass bait and let the current baits go quiet. Cool

Poor lad needs a holiday, and some internet conversation to distract him away from his activities.

I've just spent 3 days reading this and must say congrats to all involved.

Maybe Mr. Th0mas S. Muff1n should suffer a fatal accident.

As he was the only one in the bank to know about the special arrangements required to access the money in the account, maybe another bank employee should contact Mr. M1ch4el and let him know that his banker friend has died and that his account is ready to be closed as the account has had no activity for such a long time.

The reason the account is to be closed is to stop the beneficiaries funds being whittled away by charges. If Mr. Michael doesn't come to pick up the funds then the money will be donated to a charity.

As the new banker doesn't know about the special arrangements then all your hero has to do is just go to the bank and pick the money up (or maybe they should be transferred to the prudential bank where lads are most welcome).
