Funny German form w/ 5-digit date-field

I just had to share this *funny* form. It is the real thing and not per se scam related. It is issued by MDM, a German numismatic retailer. The idea is to trick potential costumers into believing it to be a somewhat official and urgent thing, while in fact its just a comercial. Now the fun is (and the reason why I post it here Wink

) that the date-field "Eingangsdatum" has five digits to fill and I really wonder how to complete the task of filling it in a prudential way (AFAIK a date should contain six or eight digits). I think this is just the kind of problem we like to put on our lads, so please take a good example from the experts at MDM Cool

when next time you design a form for your lads. Or feel free to just just pass this one to your lad under whatever pretence you can imagine.

PS.: Scan quality is low coz I used an old fax machine for it as I have no access to a decent scann at the moment Embarassed

Great tip. Maybe we can tell the lads our religion refuses to submit to the papacy and their wicked Gregorian calendar. We use a Julian calendar that just counts the days serially since our sect was founded in 1901 (39,072 days ago) or some such. (The original programmer of Microsoft Excel was a secret member...)

Personally I was thinking more about giving them a form with a five-digits date filed and let them work out, how to fill it. After all, it is an official looking form and how can I know, how it is supposed to be filled Wink

On the other hand I bet, lets would simply ignore the fields and write the date all over the form - a reason to slap them as the form will be scanned and the fields MUST be obeyed Laughing
