my friend whom I met on a dating site mentioned the other day in email that a lovely russian lady was emailing him. immediately alarm bells sounded and I told him a few things to look for...like her not answering questions and asking for money.
this is an email he sent me from her...I will try and get him to get the header for me but he wont be on for a few days now.
I am just glad I have joined this site and am now baiting so I could warn him in time of what to look for.
if anyone wants to play with her feel free LOL

I have done a couple of searches to try and find some proof for your friend but nothing comes up.

When you do get in touch with him, try to get some more details and I can look into it for you.

You can forward it to my email if you prefer.

The above email is classic Vlad Script, direct your friend to the love sticky for how to get the header and send me that as well if you can.

yeah I asked him to get headers and gave him the instructions to do so...the problem with him is he doesnt have his own computer so he uses a library computer and only has so much time online.
I will ask him to send more emails to me from her...I do know she/he met him on a dating site tho.

she picked the wrong person to ask for money tho LOL...he doesnt have any. if I was a scammer I think I would target divorced women and never been married men...I mean women a lot of time get more from the hubby and sometimes the guys left with not much at all. if he was single however he is likely to have more LOL...maybe its a good thing I am not a scammer hehehe

In all seriousness, people with no money get scammed as well, cheque scams are one such way where the victim needs not have any money at all but can still lose thousands of dollars.

Fake cheque gets deposited
Bank provides provisional clearance
Victim withdraws money
Victim forwards money
Bank find cheque to be fake
Bank wants to get money back
bank contacts police
Oilice contact victim
Victim now owes any money not payed back and may go to jail as well

Many victims also borrow from family and friends to help their new found friends who desperatley need money

Back to your friend
Make him aware of what will happen and seeing as he has limited internet time, suggest he use that time for study rather than trying to find a girlfriend from Russia Wink

yeah a bit of study into the subject of pretty russian girls who are probably guys might do him the world of good.

I will get as much info as I can from him tho when he is back online.
