Sounds like the thieves used an old fashioned keylogger and simply used the captured bank details and passwords to transfer the money to their own accounts. Then they submitted false invoices to cover the losses. I don't think Nigerians invented this, it's been going on for ages.
Looks like lads have become a convenient handle to hang any type of computer scam on. |
