Hello there.
I just received the following suspicious email. I wasn't able to find any information regarding this, though I presume it to be a scam. If I'm correct, could someone point me in the direction of other posts on the forum handling this, or very briefly explain the usual progression? I'd like to know what I'm getting into before I start with a bait.
Also, anyone interested is welcome to it as well.
Thanks!

There are a couple of previous threads here in misc about it--I don't have time to search right now. |
Yea, I figured there would be, but I was unable to track them down. Strangely, they don't even show up with quotes from the email.
Thanks! That was exactly what I was looking for. It seems that the process is more just spamming for an over-priced registrar than an actual scam. If that's so, I'd rather just leave it alone. Spammers are annoying, but not quite enough to warrant baiting or abuse.
Thanks a lot for the information! |
