I've done a quick search but I couldn't find anything, but then I may be blind..
Why did the site end up being called "419 Eater" instead of something less ambiguous like "419 Baiter" or something similar? Or is there an answer?
Just a newish member asking out of curiosity and boredom.  |

I haven't the foggiest, but it still makes sense. Also, you can go OM NOM NOM to 419eater, that wouldn't work with anything else. |

I think it's because 'eat' is Nigerian slang. As in, "I will eat all your money". Thus, we eat scammers' time, and resources. I think. |
