One of the forms that my character has to send to the barrister asks for a thumb print. A THUMB PRINT!!!

Naturally, I ignored that bit. What does this lad think I am?

He replied and politely pointed out that I missed out the thumb print question.

Hmmmmmmm... crazy that he's actually insisting on it since it's just a meaningless form.
Anyway, I replied and told him that I don't have a fingerprint-taking kit so how am I supposed to get a good fingerprint on the form?

His reply...

Oh yes, like I'm going to be doing that little task! Doesn't he know it's an absolute bitch to get pen ink off your hands??? Or maybe he does, the little prankster...

Do it, but say you used invisible ink (to avoid anyone snooping or copying your fingerprint), but that he can see the print if he puts orange colored cellophane over his head ... tightly to allow the CO2 to build up which then makes the ink visible.... Wink

Or send him a form that is covered with blue ink, as you put the ink on your thumb, but everytime you grabbed a sheet more ink came off on the page.

Seeing as you are a hand model in your free time, you can't be expected to smear ink on them.

Ask him for an example, or a tongue print in return.

The thought of a lad burning his tongue on a scanner in a crowded cafe is always a funny one.

Or the FBI / Homeland security could intercept your thumbprint as belonging to a dangerous terrorist and label it as such before sending it on. Of course the sender has no idea this has happened.
