No. But it is more than guesswork. Little by little, with some experience, one can guess more reliably what a certain lad might do towards a certain suggestion. There is "guessing" with a 50-50 reliability, and "better" guesswork, done by the old ladies looking into a glass ball, simply bringing in their life experiece, their hundreds of similar cases. |

^^^ I'm not sure you've understand the point contained in the question.
The whole FAQ addresses "Do LADS [plural, in general] ever X?" If someone brings up the example of a particular lad doing a particular thing then that doesn't prove anything about ladS plural, in general. The question addresses any intentional or unintentional strawman arguments about individuals.
