I set up a new email address to go and do some genuine dating, I made an ad on Gumtree (got a few normal people replying) but most of them were trying to get me to a sign up and pay to join a website (which I ignored)

Then yesterday I got an email which looks a little dodgy and to good to be true. you know the drill. Beautiful woman, bad english and how she cannot wait for my reply.

Then my mind remembers all the stories I used to read here about a year ago (I never had chance to get into baiting my last time here)

So what do you think? I replied to her first msg with, 'hello, wouls like to get to know you better' and this is the response.

Looks like a standard vlad. Look at the headers--do you see the Bat! in there? If so, definitely vlad.

There are a few over in the dating forum that are specializing in vlads these days--you might want to pop over and check them out.

Yes that sounds like a love scam email. I've gotten a few of late and it sounds pretty much the same. Just reply with the basic hello. Don't forget "she'll" be on a script for a while so I wouldn't toss too many details out there. Don't worry, she'll get to asking for a WU transfer soon enough like a lad Wink

I just googled part of of that and surprise surprise. Standard script. Just reply that more info needed. the can be boring for a while. Long scripts not worth reading. Vlads take some time to get to the point.

A good friend of ours here now runs romancescam.com and romancescambaiter.com - have a look there and in the Eater University forum for some great background. Vlads tend to stick to script for the first dozen rounds or so, so don't bother working too hard on your responses. Get some good photos Smile

I'll bet you 50p "she" is in El Mari district when you check the IP Wink
