I picked "You got a parcel" of 07 Feb. out of the surplus letters.

In his first mail, he asked for $275 -hey, isn't that a bargain- to be sent by WU/MG. I do not have an f***ing idea what WU or MG is. Since he's acting as TNT courier service, I asked for his bank details, IBAN, BIC, etc.

He now offered me to find the nearest WU outlet for me, see yourself:

You could say you live on Pitcairn Island, though this could limit you a bit in sending money Laughing

The problem with cash transfer facilities like these is they're always closed due to fire/snow/leaks/holidays/astral rearrangement/etc.

You could (later) suggest you can pay via WU online (this will upset them - they have to provide ID at the nominated office for online/card payments I gather - which means a potential arrest as they are tied directly to a fraud then) and watch him wriggle.

Also, do make sure he explains exactly what you have to do several times over...

I have decided to reside a few miles off a small village in Lewis, Outer Hebrides.

Will post him some address tomorrow (we don't work on Sundays, do we?). Wonder whether he will locate a WU office for me.

By the way, I like Nurse Nasty's WU Anti Scam Forms. They surely will be employed.

The online WU payment procedure sounds promising as well.
