I thought I'd share this response from a scammer.

The burial will be coming up on monday next week and I will do all my best to make sure I send to you the burial pictures by the special grace of God.

You can see for your self now that Mrs. Kate Brumley is no longer alive and we have to carry out her wish for her.

Also horrible is scammers targeting those who have already been victimized.

Part of an email from a recovery scammer:

These people are reaching out from their poverty stricken countries
You should be encouraging them by re mortaging your house, borrowing from relatives raiding the kids piggy banks. Ignore NGO schemes,Humanitrian charities and send the money directly by Western U.

I agree with Nanny Ogg - you're all heartless bastards.
The only way these people can survive to buy iPods, laptops and Nike training shoes is by telling a few little fibs and "borrowing" some money from rich Westerners. Where's the harm in that? Just because a few people might lose their houses, marriages, cars, jobs and in some extreme cases, their lives, you pick on these poor scammers and deny them their right to steal money.

It's because they're black isn't it? Even the white scammers out in Russia, Europe, North America and elsewhere outside Africa, are victimised by baiters because they're black. Racists, the lot of you.

You should be ashamed of yourselves.

It would make life a lot harder for these scammers if Westen Onion and Money Grab, where shut down, closed, or went into receivership.

^^^ It (closure of WU and MG) would make life a hell of a lot harder for those innocent folk in less fortunate circumstances to receive a few hundred dollars a month from innocent family members living abroad.

How the fuck would the majority of WU and MG customers be able to send regular, small contributions to their impoverished relatives back in the old country?

I think this thread should be dedicated to the appalling and disgusting methods of manipulation scammers use to steal people money and destroy lives. That way we can always point the uneducated lad huggers here to read.
