I've been getting a fair amount of e-mails with the flying envelope and green font that starts with "I have a new e-mail address".

Are these from lads that are newbs, or have they tried the generic e-mails and are more experienced.

I'm looking for the dumbest one I can possibly find.

I think it's a preemptive move on their part because they know that those emails are going to get shut off for spamming fairly quickly.

Those "I have a new email address" are just copy&paste jobs. They aren't indicative of any lad's intelligence.

I understand that, but this is a definitely a program they are using that somehow parses our e-mails into the TO: field, not the BCC field, as to make it look more personalized.

I didn't know if anyone else had seen this program and if it's from Scamming for Dummies or for those that have been frustrated earlier.

If you have a Yahooooooooooooo account and want to transfer your e-mail from another account you can do it using this tool:-

https://secure5.trueswitch.com/yahoo-intl/?country=gb&language=en

There is an option to <Notify all my contacts of my new email address>.

Click <Personalise this Notification> and you can change the message

I think that's what is triggering the notifications that you are receiving.

I tried that one out and it's not the exact one that I am getting, but it's very similar. That kinda answers the question that those lads using the service have probably been evolved from the BCC rookies.
