The lads recycling the ID is a substantial risk. But if we could design fakes that most potential victims (in various countries) would recognize are fake but our lads don't, we could "poison" their ID generator templates. The lads may have access to good ID templates anyway.

There are so many alternative available, from the sensible to the hilarious RealityEdge, there just isn't any need.

This is my current favourite and will amuse a Lad as he waits for the fake download gif to trundle along.

Most of the time you don't even need to send anything, adding fake links like <image.jpg> can work well, or using renamed .dll files. For the most part the lads feel that asking for ID ads to the realism of their scam, similar to when they ask you for your bank info. They aren't really going to give you money, but it ads to the "realism".

Once in a while you may get a persistant lad who really wants one. In those cases, I just go to GomerPyle's signature line and use his great passport scans.
