We are having lots of discussions over here about it and everyone is in agreement. There remain a few outstanding issues, though. The most important one is: Where?
John, if I can be so bold as to make this request... would you be in a position to recommend somewhere? You know the place better than anyone on our staff over here, you know the people and the place and the properties. Let me know what you think about this. If you're agreeable to it, you might even use this to fill in your and Mike's and Chris's time until the 0budu trip is near.
I'll tell you more if you think you'd like to help in this project.

It's time to brief Mike about the 0budu trip. I'm not sure how much he's been told from Johnk, so a quick explanation should suffice to make sure he's not totally clueless.

So.... we're looking for another location to hold the next event.
John suggested 0budu Ranch many months ago and the idea stuck in my head until recently when I thought that perhaps it's not such a bad idea after all.
When you and your other colleagues are at 0budu, I would like for you all to notice the atmosphere, the feel of the place, how nice it is, how pleasant, how well the staff provide the right greetings, the right attitude, all of that. And, when you've been there and you think you know what the place is like (good or bad... remember not to look only at the positive things, but be very critical and honest, and mention any bad things you notice), then write a short report either recommending the place or advising that we look for somewhere else.
That's the basics of what I would like you all to do. I will write to John and tell him some more specific things I would like, but for now this is the main task.

Jack´s reply, as usual, pure poetry. It won´t be too easy to get them to the Ranch, determination fighting with possible in-group discussions about expecting money upfront.

- What matters Kv0f0di and Ubah, well....I´m just thinking about the pro´s and con´s of an immediate 55C-try.
The pro´s are, Kv0f0di, as can be heard from the call in y´day´s show, he is extremely excited and hooked (IMHO). Furthermore, "Pat" would be helping me out. It´s also only a short rip for each of them, being from Lomé and Lay-gos. Last, the way I´m thinking of suggesting them, they won´t have to wait til March 31st until payment, they could get it the coming weekend.
The con´s are, both baits are relatively new, I have asked (sidetracked) the Kv0f0di group for a group MM pic, and Ubah is too stupid to understand which form we are talking about, so can he be trusted with missions?

Whatever, I would like to move their payment matter forward and suggest them a new MM event (or at least Jack being present at Pendj4rl and coming to Cotonou from time to time, via the evil "bus") so that they could receive immediate cash payment. Both lads are from Togo and Lagos, Cotonou would only be a 100km trip for each of them.

Need to think about that a few more hours but in fact I´d like to surprise them with a MM invitation, issued by 55C Smile

It appears John is really getting close to typical lad whining about money?

I was thinking of a few options for him. we could say the event council approved the dates of March 12-15 at their last meeting. they will have to approve the event host at their upcoming meeting on february 18.

this provides us a few options.

1) he gets off his butt and travels to review his location.

after reviewing his submittal

2) council reviews the details and feels the facility will not meet our needs, handicap accesability, private airstrip, etc is essential

3) we schedule the event with Slmba camps and try to send his little butt there also.

gives him only a few days to get walking.

He's been close, yes, but a few emails before that he sort of resigned himself to being broke but determined to carry out his MM duty. 55C invitations sent - couldn´t hold them back any longer. Now I wonder what Kv0f0di and Ubah will have to say - I fear it´s rather a disappointment but who knows - Cotonou is right around the corner of Lay-gos and Lomé, and it HAS worked before!
