A groundhog hibernates.
Then he’s rudely pulled outside
To where a crowd awaits.
Will he see his shadow then,
For six more weeks till spring?
Or will clouds make him feel safe

All I know about Groundhog Day I learned from the Bill Murray film. So I presume it happens again tommorow?
My favourite part was when he was chatting up the girl - each day he avoided yesterday's mistakes and used what he'd already learned until he made a perfect job of it. If only life was like that. |

No shadows here, too many sleety, snowy clouds
Mind in Stargate SG1 when they did a groundhog day episode, Jack ended up cycling through the tunnels, acting on impulse, Teal'c learned golf etc.
Wonder what I'd do if I knew each day would repeat... |

I was going to see if the prairie dogs were out looking for their shadows today, but paperwork took priority. It is supposed to be near 50 F tomorrow, so maybe just maybe I can catch a few sunning themselves… 
I live over a mile high in the Colorado Rockies region and the UK has my snow and I want it back!
My first college roommate was from the town of the "original" groundhog came from. I can say the name, but I can never spell it. The groundhog's name is Phil. 
I keep watching the film over and over... Does that mean something? |
