This was written right on top of the page I sent him, containing many pics of the "fart fixers" and even including the word "Fart". I wrote nothing myself. What do you have to do to make them read what's written to them?

Should I tell him this is an exciting new business and that we can be partners with the funds he's holding?

The vast majority of lads stick robotically to their scripts for the first few emails. When they smell the money, they perk up their ears. You're a tiger waiting in the trees up til that point. I usually play it somewhat straight until I sense I am nudging them off in my direction.

In my experience, the only way to get a lad to actually read a letter is to ask several random or even pertinent questions contained somewhere in your first letter to them, then question them on it later.

For example, if a NOK lad claims that 20% of the money goes to you, 70% goes to him, and 10% goes toward expenses, I'll try to get them off script immediately by asking how much they think it will cost. For a frame of reference here, lets say the initial scam was for ten million, which would give you 2 million, him 7 million, and 1 million for "expenses." After he tells me how much the transactin should cost, usually around 5 grand, I'll demand he accepts a 40/40/10 split, to which they usually succumb to rather easily. Then I'll ask what will happen to the other 950 grand that isn't used for transaction fees and expenses, and renegotiate the split after they have committed to giving x amount to me. Generally they'll send some kind of script that answers nothing, then I go back to square one with the "negotations", then they'll have to search through previous emails to figure out exactly what the numbers were, which requires actually reading your replies.

But for a general format, in your first emails ask some seemingly random, yet pertinent questions, then bring them up later on and not only make your lad waste time by having to actually read replies, but by having to sort through several replies to find the pertinent one to reply to.

The only reason to write more than "I'm interested; tell me more" in your first reply, is so you can slap the lad for not reading it.

Some do, of course, but it's about a quarter or less.
