Can anyone tell me where this site is registered? Its selling high end military stuff and none of the dealers I know have heard of it...seems a bit too high end to be be true...any input would be great!

G'day Alf,
There's a lot of fakes with military memorabilia, and the Art word is another story completely.
You could Google some of the names or battles he quotes, But from the few I researched, he's got his info from google in the first place.

Sotheby's should have him listed, IF he's a genuine dealer, and the Imperial War Museum, would have records of the medals issued.
To get an idea of prices asked you could look at E-bay, in both UK , Australian, or USA for prices, even e-mail some of the bigger sellers for information.. Most genuine dealers will supply you with accurate prices and availability of this sort of stuff. you might even find a antique dealer that specialises in medals and war memorabilia locally that might be able to advise you.

And a bit of research costs nothing but time.

You could ask him to supply you with registered certificates of authenticity, as he's asking a great deal of money for his stuff. and see if he backs of, or simply doesn';t comply with your requests. Then you will know.
