Maybe he thinks I'm another scammer or something, because I have never even had contact with this scammer.

If you never baited 41.223.251.120 Benin (Cotonou) then you have a ASEM of a lad or he really made a typo. Why not answer short and see if he can explain himself. Something like,

Okay, if in doubt and the worst thing that can happen is nothing, go for it.

I used a common greeting and wished him luck at the end.
the rest is something like much work now.

Do you have any idea where they email from? So you can pick a place just in reach, but within Safari boasting rights And of course he has to buy your silence as he is worried about hat.
My opinion: first option still Mr Gomer (GomerPyle) second, let's see if he likes to travel a bit. Willing to help with text again of course. |

I use some Pidgin phrases that I have collected from Lads messages, but I quickly switch to standard abbreviated English or it gets too complicated. I wouldn't get too deep into Igbo or other dialects or you'll soon get found out.
There are cultured and well spoken scammers, and often they are the most successful, so speaking straight English won't make them doubt you, in fact it will often gain you respect.
What this Lad's on about ? Heaven knows. If this other guy exists then you can expect your cover to be blown at any time when the real Lad makes contact. It's always worthwhile to throw a spanner in the works, and I'm doing that all the time, 'cause I'm a bastard. I have them making death threats to each other and even joining my own fake scammer gang.
