There is a frenzy of shed building about to take place in Kent, England. Shocked

A few days ago a Russian ship carrying thousands of tons of lumber lost the cargo in high seas. The wood is now washing up on England's beaches in Kent. This has set off massive scavenging by local residents.

A CNN reporter interviewed several of the scavengers and most indicated that they would be building "sheds" with the purloined booty. The story can be found HERE

I am wondering is this is just coincidence or is there something more mysterious going on here. After all this is the ancestral home of the infamous Arthur "Two Sheds" Jackson of Python fame. Hmmmmmmmm . . . . . .

This is not good news. With this much lumber circulating there are very likely going to be many people who can claim to hold the venerated title of "Two Sheds". This exclusive club is just going to become one of those dreary, crappy, everyday societies like Freemasonry or Premium Membership here on Eater.

I suggest that there be an immediate laying down of plans for a third shed with construction starting as soon as possible.

On the BBC News it was mentioned that the timber had been in the sea soon long, that it's only use was as firewood.

An interview I heard, there was a contractor for garden decking on the beach, being public spirited enough to rescue all he could.

Of course he was going to report it all, just like those guys who were bravely salvaging BMW motorbikes in Cornwall.

There is no truth in the rumor that Gold Hat is having the Gulf Stream diverted, so the timber floats past his sheds.

If it stops raining here long enough for the wood to dry out, there will be a sort of 'SPROING' noise as the wood assumes a somewhat more esoteric shape. People's sheds adopt a more origamically inclined shape.
