hey guys, noob here, got referred by friends who follow the site, im based in Ireland, i got a call today to my moble, it wasnt an irish number, when i answered there was a guy on the end saying he had a gift for me and to ring him back.. then he hung up. i dodnt ring him back, he rang and hung up.. a few mins later after talking to some friends on our local forum i received a sms from the same number saying "HELP ME PLEASE"
i did a quick check on the internet and the country code was Nigeria, but i cant find any info on scams over the phone like this..
any help would be good..

haha well the only way i was thinking of a scam that might work by me ringing him back like he asked is its a premium rate number or something along those lines..

seeing as how im new to all of this what do you guys think i should do about it? i mean its possible he aint gunna contact me again but there could be some other sucker out there who will fall for whatever hes got up his sleeve. |

What SSAL means is that if you ask for an email address, he will connect it to your cell number, and therefore can get hold of your real details. When you bait safely, your email address does not connect to your real name in any way (i.e. you signed up for the email with fake details.) |
