Do not believe any of those emails claiming to be from Obama's banker/advisor/secretary/butler/dog/whatever. These are almost certaintly advance fee fraud, otherwise known as 419 scams. Except for the one about the Obama lottery. That one's true.

BTW, talking about whacking our real National Anthem, did anyone see the We Are One Inauguration Concert? The Sargent Major started singing about 9 bars in. I recorded the live concert and rebroadcasts and found that HBO fixed the introduction in the rebroadcast.

After 8 years we have a new president and vice president.

I read that William Harrison gave the longest inauguration speech in history. He spoke for nearly two hours without a hat, coat, or gloves on a cold and wet day. He died of pneumonia a month later, earning him the additional distinction of serving the shortest term in history.

The melody was derived from the British national anthem, God Save the King or Queen, by way of a German adaptation. The song served as a de facto national anthem of the United States for much of the 19th century.
