Hmm... and they're just now going to trial?? I know nothing about the Spanish justice system, but I wonder if they've been in prison the whole time.
If it is anything like U.S. jurisprudence......9-1/2 yrs. (white collar crime w/no priors) really means 6-1/2 yrs..... which (with good behavior) actually means 3-1/2 yrs.....which with (time already served) basically means zero years.
If that's the case, they'll be meeting themselves on the way out. Rant. |
