I am just curious if any of you heard of people counter scam baiting?
I mean, finding some of your email addresses, and sending a nigerian scam to you for the sole purpose of having fun by making you think your baiting a scammer? |

Sure - those are really just a sub-species of troll, and are fairly rare. |

Meh, while I am at asking dumb questions new people ask, might as well go on...
Do people here ever give a scammer any amount of cash (like a 2 digit figure) with the intention of making the scammer waste much more due to the trust you gave them? |

Believe it or not but we don't even need to send them money to get them to do a lot of the stuff they do. As long as you convince them that if they do something there will be money waiting for them, you can get them to do a lot of things (banners, videos, artwork, packages, ...) |

Personally I'm to cheap to do that. Also I don't know if it would make the scammer that much more trusting - they don't think like normal people. |
