Lad caled peter adrews is trying to help me claim money from the bank account of someone who died in this tragic incident who has no next of kin. This is my first try at baiting, is this as low as these people go?

Do I detect another H2G2 fan?

As Sir Scam Alot (curse him for getting in 1st AGAIN!) says there is no low.

Examples are using real plane crashes, real natural disasters, real terrorist attacks.
Using real photos of cancer patients when they pretend to be dying of cancer.
Pretending to have a dying child (usually from cancer).

You name it they will sink that low and lower if possible.

These people are the scum of the earth and that is why sites like this exist.
The earth needs to be rid of them. However we have to obey the rules as any civilised society must.

Bait away and give him hell. He deserves it.

Welcome. Read the stickies about safe baiting. If the scam arrived at your real life email address, create one at gmail with bogus details and reply from it. The lad won't notice.

yes Im a H2G2 fan, Im going to introduce Dirk at some stage.

I responded to the email via a new webail account. Im now a 78 year old man, possibly rich, born in poland, who is deaf following a tragic gardening accident.
He wants to know if I can come to the Ivory coast.
I told him Im not much of a traveller, despite telling him earlier that I had been on a world cruise. Hes now asking for documents etc and travel details.
Going well up to now.

Plane crashes (the Concorde crash at Paris is a common one), terrorist incidents (including S11), natural disasters (such as the Boxing Day tsunami), cancer patients (this one makes me really angry), children with horrendous injuries, the Iraq war... yep, they'll use anything as a hook on which to hang a scam.

Zaphod - put your heads together and plan a really terrible fate for your Lad; and remember, if you need help or advice - that's one of the reasons we're here.

Welcome to a journey of horrid realisation just how shitty scammers can and will be. Other crappy classics include sending you pictures of hospitalised children begging for cancer treatment money, fake orphanages to make Fagin appear saintly, death threats/extortion unless you pay up within 48hrs...plane crashes are quite civilised compared with some of the evil they come up with! So bait away!

Start slowly, place yourself in the position of a victim and act realistically - after a while he'll be totally on your hook and you can start dishing out the punishments in spades!

Not the worst at all.

We've seen large graphic photos of Nigerians burned in petroleum spillages in Lagos, I got one of a supposed road victim who had clearly been shot in the face at point blank range and then there's the NOMA charity that scammers were impersonating, and I nearly forgot the photos of a starving Indian child who was known to have died three years before, and that scammer was begging money for medecine.

Then when they scam someone to the point of suicide - they go beyond taking advantage of sickness or a death - then they are responsible for one.

If a victim is poor and desperate or elderly/infirm it is easy to see how they persuade and bully the weak willed into paying up. One Lad has been ringing me all day long now - about 20 calls, and for any victim the mental pressure is intolerable. Victim are usually broken mentally and financially.

I'll mail him later with what he thinks he wants. He wants fast - he gets slow.

There is no low for the lad's.

I had one lad ask my 13 year old baiting character, "Can you get your daddy's credit card? Don't let him know about this transaction."
Another one gave me detailed instructions on how to bury the body of my 'girl friend' when I told him I had 'accidently killed her.'

They have no morales. They only want the money.

These lads are pure slime.
Possibly the most morally reprehensible humans on this planet. They will do literally ANYTHING for a few dollars. Including lying, kidnapping, and murdering innocent people.

There hasn't been a single bait posted here that I though had gone "too far" in making a lad miserable.

My parents were taken in by an American charity scam in 2000. They are by no means wealthy people, but they sent several thousand dollars to what they thought was a church outreach program for the ghettos of LA, NYC, and Chicago.

I used to mess with just about every scam that came into my email box in a very unrefined way until I came across 419eater and started seeing how the "pros" baited. My life has been a lot more fun ever since! Very Happy
