we have a guy in our local market here that will take any (high quality) image and put it onto huge canvasses (sp?). My friend had a couple done of the Heath Ledger as the Joker for his wifes Christmas present and they look fantastic. Not cheap though, cost him about £160 GBP for the two.

now I can feel as if I'm in the galleries without the travel to Madrid

I'll get my son to sit in a chair and scowl like a security guard and daughters pals to sniffle, giggle and chew gum, then the experience is complete.

and here was me getting excited because the national gallery had put a photo collection online!
