Hi All

One of my very best banner lads will be on safari this weekend from Lagos to Contonu.

He said it was too far to travel but I dangled the $27,0O0 carrot in front of him and he has agreed to make the journey.

Spoke to my lad, who rang me at 4am this morning. He said he will be arriving in Contonou in the morning, and I stressed to him how important it is to send me an email when he arrives in Contonou.

My lad called again this morning promising to be in Contonou in the morning. I await the email...

LOL, looking forward to this. I've had a few Lagos based lads travel to Cotonou. The funny thing was they were all ripped off by the locals because none of them spoke French. The taxi drivers ripped them off especially. Good luck on the safari.

Cotonou is a great place to get Lagos lads to. Not only as Dupes said do the locals rip them off I have heard the Beninois police can't stand Nigerians and give them lots of hassle plus the road from Lagos to the border is notorious for robberies and kidnappings so there's a decent chance of your lad getting "rubbed by rubbers".

Good luck with the Safari. Maybe you could get him over the border to Togo, it's only a few miles (and a border crossing, bribes, taxi fares, more chance of getting fleeced...)
