So hacker Harry tells lad Elliot that he (Harry) has a maga for Elliot to practice on. Problem is, she's really dumb and needs to be told everything twice.

Elliot appears to have mixed up dumb and deaf:

^^^ "Dumb" also means "mute" - unable to speak. Perhaps the lad does not know the use of "dumb" as meaning "stupid." Wink

Lads can be really cruel about the hearing impaired. Case in point - Lads to Cammy (same bait):

Can't be a heap of fun being deaf in Nigeria if that's the local attitude Sad

Sometimes you really want to educate these people for the benefit of mankind in general.

How about keeping the deaf thing going and getting him in a call with notobescammed (on his radio show). Dan could be her translator (shout a lot, pretend to do sign, etc), I'm sure he'd be game. PM him or inspectorgadget, ,they'd probably have fun with that Smile

I had a lad ask my deaf character B3tty, how does she follow the church service? Is one of the ministers a dumbass too, who can explain it to her?

I don't think lads have any idea that this is offensive. Very sad.

Well can you imagine the amount of elderly,crippled,mad,deaf mutes he must come across? along with the broken scanner situation, he must have a really pour impression of the state of the nation.
