GomerPyle was kind enough to post some Cheque Scammer addys a while ago and I thought I would help Mrs H to help herself.

I applied for the 'job' with a fictitious address and genuine Flextel phone number, sure enough I got it. Mrs H wanted some contact details & a passport scan (a suitable .dll file was promptly supplied). Initially there was some moaning about the passport and the phone number....

Well, I gave her some flannel about 'I just moved in, BT screwed up' (WTF? My Flextel number works great, go ask Dr P at the UnitedNations55 Twisted Evil

). She was too dumb to open a simple .jpg and now she threatens me with the cops? Forget your job Mrs H....

Oddly, resigning didn't slow her down and she replied to that mail (including my previous 'I quit' mail)

I have the contacts in the Post Office and elsewhere that means I can get access to numerous unused and inactive bank accounts, the owners have often forgotten all about them or are too old or ill to care, no one knows about them except for me & as you found out I can process 'bent' cheques with no trouble at all.

One problem though is that once I use an account to cash a 'bent' cheque the clock starts ticking. Eventually the bank will notice that the cheque was bad and then it's 'Game Over' for that account. Typically that can take anything from 3 days to 3 months in my experience. It all depends how good the 'bent' cheque is.

Your cheque was pretty good & is showing as cleared in dear Veronica Nice's account (yes, Veronica exists, she's in an old peoples home in Brentford) and that's got me thinking. A lot of the cheque lads I have burned were sending really poor cheques that bounced immediately, some of them were so bad the account was closed, asshole ameteurs. If you can get more cheques as good as that one, well, why not process as many as possible through a few of the untracable accounts I have total control of? No need to con people into being cheque mules, no hassle & no risk. But, because these accounts are tricky to get and have a limited shelf life once you use them it's best to process as many cheques as possible through each account. Then you can move on to the next one if & when an account is killed by the banks.

Tell me mrs h, are you the small time screw up I think you are OR are you ready to make some real money? It's upto you, if you are small time best walk away now

Either way I'm keeping the first cheque, I really need that holiday.

The other interesting thing is that Mrs H is using a paid for T1scal1 customer IP addy that traces back to 0xf0rd. Either this is a hacked account or the idiot is using it's home 'net connection Twisted Evil

I think I will relent and offer him 500GBP (FIVE HUNDRED GBP) IF he can come up with a bank account for 4L4N. After all, why should I go to WU? Its for beach bums etc & I can transfer direct from one of my 'shadowy' bank accounts

Suggestions anyone? I want to hurt this idiot......

DVM, You can get access to a safe drop box for your trophies by becoming a premium member. Just click the Orange Link in my siggy. It makes you cool, too. Very Happy

If the lad has a paid email account, you can cause him some grief by sending an abuse email to his ISP and shutting it down. We only shut down paid addies, and phonelad addies here. If the lad didn't write down your email address, you may lose him. So, before you close down the addy, you could ask him to switch to a "more secure" yahoo addy. You could tell him that if he wants to work for you, that you may want him to go on YIM chat (always fun for realtime kicks and giggles if you are quick on your feet). The lad doesn't seem too swift, so keeping way ahead of him will not be hard. Tell him Yahoo is "the only way" real g-men like yourself communicate. Or something like that....
