i was looking for suport with the dicternary thing that i think i down loaded like were is it and how do i use it

techs and nerds say just down load this or that but for newbys it migtht be down loaded but they can struggle to find it and know how to use it to its best caperbilertys RE i think i have the dicternary some were on my puter but how do i use it to check my spelling say for what im writeing here

i notice there are red lines under some words ??? so how do i fix or check them Ahhhhh

Did you try right-clicking on the word with the red underline? That might bring up a suggested spelling. It works that way in Word.

I believe FF comes with a spell checker. Tools>options>advanced then there you should see a "check my spelling as I type" to tick.

Maybe you need and addon for an Australian dictionary. Don't you guys there call your friends "mates" and just some guy a "bloke". Let me try

Yes, the red line indicates a spelling error (I see it a lot). Right click on the underlined word and it will bring up a list of suggestions. Usually the correct spelling is there however occasionally my spelling is so bad the spell checker doesn't have a clue what I am trying to spell.

Also, it still doesn't hurt to preview and proof read your posts before submitting Wink

lost my arms in the war so i have to type with my nose cose my tows are to short to type with Rolling Eyes
