I haven't been a member for very long.... but I must be hooked.....I had the shakes all night and this morning.
I'm sure they will go away soon now that I just got my fix! 
Is there a B8R support group for people like me? If so do they accept WU? |

Even the best sites suffer occasional problems. Rov3r forgot to put a shilling in the meter most likely.

Remembering the DDOS attack in 2007, the best advice to come out of that was to make sure you have a buddy in here, or a mentor, to contact should it happen again.
Normal power outages happen from time to time, write to your favourite pet while Eater is going through maintenance |

There was a DDOS attack almost a year ago, Rover warned about it on 8th Jan 2008.
Might have just been a rush of visitors, it also took down scamwarners.com |

stuffed my day up and i just clicked on a link and had simalar problem ??? last thing i remember was going to the shed to get sharp sticks and i must have bumped my head cos iv lost 20 hours of eater and carnt find the carved keyboard ?????

Eater has been extremely twitchy for me in the past 48 hours here (Eastern USA). Lots of error messages and failed attempts to connect, including just a few minutes ago.
My internet connection is miserable at best (dial-up connection only, plus AOL, and then Firefox -- or is it Foxfire???, I can never remember which exactly  ), but my electricity has NOT gone out, and my internet connection itself has NOT failed completely, and ALL other sites which I visit regularly (i.e., my bank plus two "old faithfuls" and several news sites, among others) have been reachable without interruption in the same time period.
Ah well, if I manage to achieve posting this message, I s'pose it means that Eater is back up again for folks like me . . . at least for now . . . Whew!  |

may be there new mods on the way and there trying to teach them which buttons to push only jokeing its scarey when you dont know what it is re your end or there end . my puter frose earler today and then eater acted strange for abit but its fine now . NN my have o ded on some thing and has her head on the key board again  |
