What's the point?

tempemail.net is a throwaway email service where addresses expire after 14 days.
There is, therefore, no ongoing benefit if trying to 'harvest'.

The address you gave [email protected] will be dead, presumably in less than 14 days now.
All tempemail addresses are available to be read by anyone.

I really don't get the idea behind that type of service they provide. Am I missing the point of an email with an address that anyone can read?

I typed in the word "spam" and there are 18 emails.

I think they're mainly intended for a situation where you dont want to give out your personal email address, for example if you're signing up for a website you only want to use once and dont want them to be able to email you in the future. If you look at the website that the first email in "[email protected]" is from, I think you'll see what I'm getting at.
