Sadly some teenagers write like that and speak like that, if they're not grunting monsyllabically.
Luckily mine also know how to read, speak and write English, in spite of 2 being dyslexic ( only found daughter also dyslexic last month, shes got to 6th year without any help Shocked

I don't think that Tara was ever proved to be a troll, though I could be mistaken. However, that sort of writing is very common in the fanfiction writing community, by mostly teenagers that want to seem cool and different.

They also get very huffy if you correct them on it. They also use being foreign as an excuse (chances are that they may not be), they claim to be dyslexic, or to have a disease (most common is Autism or Aspergers).

If you take a look at the marysues community over on Livejournal, there's quite a few examples of bad characterisation there, and also bad spelling.

Its not hard to write like that, if that's the way that you want to write. Having written troll stories myself, I te u, its hrd 2 rite liek taht wifout tinking hrd bout it. I prefer using proper sentences. I find it hard enough to type things in l33t here in the forums Smile

Yeah this chick looks like a LOLWUTer. I guess people think its cool/hip/reflection of one's intelligence to use shorthand terms in everyday conversation. It's a fad that's gone on far too long, something that will corrected in the XNWO.

LOLWUT is something the kids say when they try to seem cool in an internet community. It's usually said as a response to something funny or when trying to be funny by being rude. An LOLWUTer is a term I derived from one of Maddox's articles and although it specifically means that an LOLWUTer is something who gratuitously uses the term, I use it as a general term to describe someone who overly utilizes AOL-speak to the point where I will use a truncheon to bludgeon them to death or ask that person to surrender their balls/ovaries to keep them from reproducing.
