My last day as a mod - thank you. :-)

It's time I stepped down, so I'll be leaving the mod room today. I am sad at having to resign, and I know I'll miss it hugely, but I cannot do the role justice right now. I'm struggling to find the time I need to commit to the things in my life that deserve my attention: work, my private life, and Eater. Something has to give, and I am sorry to say it's modding here. I've been a mod since the summer of 2005, and I've had a good run, and enjoyed it a great deal. I feel proud and privileged to have been asked, and I owe wholehearted thanks to Shiver and Rover for giving me the opportunity to help run Eater. Very Happy

I shall continue to support them and Eater in the future. It's not goodbye - I'll be here as often as I can, and I hope I'll be able to focus the time I have to good effect, and I'll still be running the drop box for premium members.

A huge thank you to all my fellow mods now (past and present) for the support, fun, and friendship. I wish Rover and the current team all the very best for the future. Thanks, also, to all the members who've gone out of their way to offer thanks or support to me, and the rest of the mods, in good and bad times - it's always been appreciated. Very Happy

Modding is apparently a tough job, judging by the number of mods who have rejoined their real lives lately. But, Eight, you have done the job well. We will miss your gentle reminder posts. Wink

We may be losing you as a mod, but I've certainly gained a wonderful friend/confidante and know that will continue for years to come.

You have done a wonderful job here, and can be proud of that. Smile
