I have tendered my resignation as an Eater Mod and will step down on Dec 31st.

I’ve been here for 5 years and spent most of that time as a Mod.
My time has come to sit back, relax, and become human again.

In the absence of inspiration for a witty speech I will just wish Eater continued success and good luck to the Mod and Admin team for the future.

I’ll still be around. You don’t get rid of me completely so easily.

Shit, Breddan, that's bad news

You're the only Mod where I am always on my best behaviour if I see you are prowling the forums (or should that be slithering?).

Who now is going to deliver withering put-downs to newbs asking inane questions?

Who is going to step into a debate in chat and add gentle wisdom and advice, your words falling softly like lemon juice in an open cut?

Who is going to be so supportive and understanding about fear of IP security amongst members?

Which mod is going to make me suck in my breath in surprise and mutter "Jesus, that hurt" when I see a troll chided?

Well, I suppose to answer my own question, step forward JMR, Roy, Nursie, Cherrie, TS........ Laughing

But you'll be missed. Crying or Very sad

Sad to see you go, good to know you'll stay around though.
Get your holidays, recharge and have fun without worries. We'll see you back as a Mod in the year of the Snake again I guess Wink
