I started reading that thread - it had 22 pages when I began. After a while I began skipping whole pages until I saw Gomer's name, and then I scrolled down for posts from or to GP. Still, it took me 4 hours, and by the time I got to page 22, there were 24 pages. 
But it was good to see that the place got shut down, even with the various side trips as posters took offense at other posters' comments. 
And - good show, Gomer!  |

It's the terminology. The word 'demagogue' brings up a picture of a bronzed colossus in my mind, but I have a strange sense of humour, and my own flowery manner of speech means I am often mistaken as being gay, though at my age I no longer have a need of a preference. |
