I am sorry to advise you all that I am resigning from the Mod room of Eater, and probably Eater in general.

Domestic life is just too damn stressful for me right now to be able to give the Mod role a proper service, and as I said when I was first invited to become a Mod, I didn't want the role unless I felt that I could make a positive contribution.

At the moment I am no more than a token Mod, and that's just not fair on Rover or the rest of the team.

I am embarrassed to bail out after such a very short time, especially after such faith was shown in me, but I feel that this is the right thing to do in my circumstances, as I am not able to do myself justice or fulfill my Mod duties on Eater as I would have liked, and I really must concentrate all of my efforts on my family right now.

I’d like to thank you all for the opportunity to be part of all this, and the wonderful comraderie, and wish you all and 419Eater a hugely successful 2009.

I hope that you are able to get the domestic side of things under better control and that we'll see you back at some point in time. RL is probably going to be affecting a lot of us a lot more during the holidaze. Take care, and we wish you a successful and prosperous 2009.

Sad to see you go, loved the stories of Simba Safari, is that going too?
We never had a run in so I guess you were a good moderator. Laughing

I can understand your motive and RL is after all REAL LIFE and thus more important.
I hope like the rest that things clear up and we can welcome you back soon, if not, shit happens, you will be missed here. Confused

It's been a pleasure having you around, Simba. I hope you're not Gone for Good (with those capital G's!!!)

As on your previous time-out you will be greatly missed.

I wish you all the best for the family business.

And don't see any need to feel embarrassed for stepping down now. I think that you deserve kudos for laying it out so well spoken and for being so honest.
In my opinion this only underlines that the Eater-team has made a good choice when choosing you as a mod.

Your footsteps will be hard to fill, no matter if it's as safari-manager or as a mod.
