Lottery scam with a twist..what else can I do?

I got a regular scam email telling me I won a lottery.

The sender identified himself as Dr. Philip Holmes(Reference Officer), BUT didn't seem to realize that his real name and university email addy were at the top of the email.

The school is Cr@nfield University in England and the scammer's name and addy is "L0ic H@res" - l.h@res@[email protected]

I assume he's a student. I've written twice to the University but have no idea what, if any, action they're taking.

I think the student scammers are really outrageous, but what else can I do?

Can you post the whole email, including headers? Lads almost always use free webmail accounts for scamming.
He may just be spoofing the Cr@nfield address to get round spam filters.

A couple weeks ago I got a phishing email trying to get account and password information for university accounts. It was a generic phishing attempt. Interesting enough the intermediate site they used was a hacked asian university. It took about 2 days to shut it down.

Cranfield has historically been one of the Universities of choice for those seeking a career in the Armed Forces, though it is not purely for degrees leading to a life in the military.

The owner of the addie is highly unlikely to be a scammer, but will be a very red faced student. They'll be a little more sensitive to security breaches than other universities.

I get this a lot - I own a heap of domains, it is easy to fake 'from' addresses, so I get loads of non-delivery reports where scammers/spammers have sent email 'from' one of my domains. Makes me spit feathers, one day I had over 60,000 'undeliverable' reports overnight.
