I'd never be going to amsterdam, ever. Either he gets to a german city I know well enough to feel absolutely safe in or he'll have to travel somewhere completely different. Anyways... he hasn't gotten back to me yet, so let's not cross the bridge until we come to it Smile

There is a webcam at http://kalverstraat.webcam.nl/. You can move it back and forth, up and down, zoom in and out, all with controls in your browser. In 2004 I got a lad to hang around there waiting for my character wearing a bright red shirt and hat. He waited around long enough for me to get some pretty good screenshots of him.

It takes a bit of patience because sometimes other users jump on and use the camera and you have to regain control. But the trophies are well worth it.

They didn't just pick up on them. They did say they are online also but they wanted to physically meet with them and those are the ones that like the face to face meetings as this particular show likes to expose those behind the scams. They can only do so much on a 20 minute segment. One fellow on the show had lost $200,000 to these same scammers.

When they finally did meet him face to face and he realized he was on TV he ran and so did his boys in the background.

An hour later the report got a call from the lad threatening to kill him.

Why not split the difference and meet in Cologne?

Amsterdam Centraal depart 10:34 ICE 123
Koeln arrive 13:12

Cost 55,60 EUR (one way)
Plus supplement, but I wouldn't worry about telling him that, he'll find out one way or the other.
Distance of 133 miles, so a round trip would be a safari I think.

I will try to get him to answer his phone on sunday, if Dan plans to call him again. Maybe we can meet on monday.
Unfortunately I don't have any possibility to watch him in Col0gne to confirm a possible safari (Other than maybe a public webcam).

As for the train I might tell him "SchönerTagTicket NRW" is enough for the german part of the journey Twisted Evil
