@kraftstrom - Maybe you could try and get the Amsterdam lad on a webcam...just a thought. If you could text him there without talking to the lad in person, it might be a first. The lads usually will not go anywhere without a phone call on a meeting in Europe, but you could try. Smile

Where is he based?

There are no way he could make an Amsterdam.Hamburg train ride in 4 hours! Unless they are better connections than when I did it last year.

That translates as - he wants to spot you and not allow you the chance to spot him. I expect he intends to watch the meeting place from a cafe or some other safe vantage point.

If you know he won't be holding his envelope where you can spot him, then you can always just pretend you went and say you didn't see him there.

Lads in Europe are paranoid because the risks of getting caught are greater - not much - but it's possible.

Well... I don't know actually. The original lad, Mr. Albert Al5on, is based in Benin, his Friend, Mr. Andy F1sh "traveled" from Benin to amsterdam yesterday despite me insisting to meet him in Hamburg. At first I was to pay his hotel bill (€3500) via WU, then via bank transfer, then via MG (needless to say that none of them worked for me... Wink

).
I don't quite know what to think of this "bait", it was too easy to convice him that the only way of getting his payment was a personal handover.

I just wrote him an email stating that I was waiting at hamburg central station for the last four hours without him showing up and that I will now go back to my hotel (needless to say I'm pretty pissed because I had to wait there for so long).
I will try to "arrange a meeting" for tomorrow.

if you can leave him a voicemail it'll be a good convincer. If Mr Fish (someone must have baited him to come up with that name, surely?) exists and truly is in Europe, why not ask one of the US fellows to flash his phone every 20 minutes throughout the night when he should be fast asleep? It would be a shame if he was feeling sprightly and ready to meet Wink

There's Hauptbahnhof, Dammtor and Harburg with long distance trains stopping there Smile

There are lots of cameras at Hauptbahnhof but I don't have access to any of them :/

The burger king is inside the station on the first level. It's a very busy station and notorious for pickpockets and druggies.

If your lad is gay you should try to meet him at the Cockring, a gay nightclub. I'm sure that would be a bundle of laughs ( and before you ask...No, I haven't Laughing

).

I had a lad based in Amsterdam once and I arranged to meet him at a webcam location. He dropped me like a hot potatoe, I'd be careful about the webcams if you want to keep him, he might get suspicious.

They had the amsterdam lads on TV last night. They work in groups and send their own guys ahead to scout out any trouble. The other guy is usually very closet by but claims he will be there in 5 mins only to show up seconds later and his security guys are right out side just in case anything happens.
