Check out this email, I think this scammer is pretty sharp to be honest. I wonder if he's on to me. I used the .dll trick passport. I wonder where I should go now, since he's got me against the wall here. I'm supposed to fly out on the 17th after all.

My mail to you has no negative impact, just letting you know of the modalities, however you have the right to express your candid feelings.

I am only helping Mrs Zenab Malik because of her request to me to help her see that you do not have any complications during the release process.
The attachment you sent did not open so what you supposed to have attached did not open.
I will need a copy of your passport to make an appointment for you as the beneficiary.
I need the copy of your passport for me to make the required appointment and also you should know that what I am doing is very confidential and if there is any breach in the confidentiality, I will tell Mrs Zenab Malik because she has assured me of maximum cooperation from her appointed beneficiary.

When I have a clear copy of your passport, I will make the necessary appointments and also the reservations.

Heh I think we borrowed "modalities" from the lads in the first place!

I'd keep sending the dll, telling him it opens ok on your home and work computers - then try to derail him on the subject of operating systems, etc. If he has a PC you've got a Mac, etc. It'll give you a couple of extra cycles of messing with him anyway.

Edit: You would rescan the passport for him but you've sent it away for a visa for your travel/whatever Wink

Yeah - that wheeze is good for eight mails at least.

Be helpful. I change the file name from passport.jpg to passport.bmp and go on about how hard it is to reimage the picture. Then do one passport.gif and say it nearly crashed your pc doing it. Ask if his pc supports olu (I just made it up).

Tell him that you'll be happy to mail it to him. Just behave like a smart ass kid - it comes naturally to me. Then you turn round and smirk to your pals.

You can also tell him he needs to be running windows vista as most of their computers are very old. Tell him he needs an upgrade as it works fine on your computer.

Make sure that you keep doubling the side of your passport. Just pick larger files. I try to keep them under 10 megs. I also like to name the files rescan.tif and passport3.jpg.

All the advice above is good. Just keep sending him un-openable files, and eventually he will say, "Thanks, I recieved your information." They don't really want your picture, they just want some assurance that you're serious.

As for traveling on the 17th, tell him your mother got sick so you have to postpone for a week or two. Or you got stopped at the airport by Homeland Security. Maybe ask him for help in re-scheduling your flight.

That's nothing. On the news last night, I heard Gordon Brown use modalities during a speech he made at the emergency G20 meeting. Shocked
