Standard Life House,30 Lothian Road,Edinburgh EH1 2DHE-mail : [email protected]
Good Day,My name is Stewart Barculo, Staff of Standard Life Bank Limited.Though I have not considered this medium to be the best manner to haveapproached you on this issue being that the internet has been greatlyabused over the recent years and is very unsecured for information?s ofvital importance. I have decided to take the chance seeing that noother means could have been faster and more efficient than theE-mail.I am contacting you concerning a deceased customer and aninvestment he placed under our banks management four years ago tothe tune of fifty million UnitedStates dollars($50,000,000.00).I wouldrespectfully request that you keep the contents of this mailconfidential and respect the integrity of the information you come byas a result of this mail. I have been in charge of this department fornine years and to best of my knowledge, I have discharged my dutywith equity, In the process of review of the financial report by mydepartment, I discovered that both of you have a similar last name;hence I contacted you so that I can give you further briefing on myintention and how to disburse the funds and estate he left behind. My proposal; you share the same surname With our lateclient; I am prepared to place you as the next of kin and have thefunds release to you as the closest surviving relation, I am preparedto share the money with you in half 50/50, I have evaluated the risksand the only risk I have here is from you refusing to work with me andalerting my bank, please, again, note I am a family man; I have a wifeand children. I send you this mail not without a measure of fear as towhat the consequences, but I know within me that nothing ventured isnothing gained and that success and riches never come easy or on aplatter of gold. Kindly send your response to my private emailaddress:[email protected] await your response.

Bait straight until you've got him on the hook for the fees he'll demand by WU, then start delatying, teasing, finding WU shut, usign MTCN 5ecure, etc. The scam format itself is a vanilla NOK (Next of Kin).
Have fun |

This is a standard bank manager scam. You'll see hundreds of examples here.
Your next step should be to say: "Wow! That's a lot of money! Are you sure this is legal? I'm interested but just don't know what to do next."
Something like that.

What about the fact that it was sent to my personal e-mail address that includes my first two initials and my entire last name in the address? |

Oh right.
Wellll....you can always reply from a new, fake account (the lad won't care where the response comes from). Or take a similar one from Surplus and bait that. There is no end to the lad emails to choose from. |
