I had one lad ask for an amount of $2550. To test the waters, sort of like others have done, I made up that my character has breast cancer.

Not yet. Only about 20% of the time will I get an angry message back from the lad. Sometimes it will turn into a running insult fest, but usually they slink away with their tails between their legs.

There are no depths to which they will not stoop.

I've seen them suggest stealing a mothers prescription money (only a few dollars/pounds/euros) on order to fed their greed.

One started off his scam by requesting help for HIS dying child. after a fair few emails had been exchanged where I offered to help send medicines or pay hospital bills and the like, he suddenly told me to forget the child and concentrate on raising the money so he could send me my inheritance.

Total scum the lot of them.

Yea I didn't understand that but then again half the stuff they say doesn't make sense. Maybe I'll enquire. I sent him some forms.
