Is the site still active Dr. William?
Spybot and Adaware are a must on all PC. Unless you got something robust as an anti-virus like Kaspersky Internet Security. |

I got this e-mail from my parents and immediately recognized it for what it was, BUT it was too late and am no concerned that it's on my computer. I called them and told them to virus scan. I did the same but came up with nothing. I told my rents to call the few people on their list and tell them not to open the e-mail.
If anyone on here knows a surefire way to scan for this it would be greatly appreciated. My parents aren't too techno savy and I get worried they may get suckered into shit like this so it pisses me off. |

I have sent four abuse reports to softlayer. It still lives. |

Guys, I am an eBay Powerseller and i see these all the time. Many of these guys are wholesellers trying to move their local stock to high paying foreigners. When I started out, before I found reliable suppliers, I actually used somebody like this, even paid via WU.
I'm not saying this guy is legit, but I have seen similar who are. |

I suspect that your webmail account itself was hacked. My understanding is that when a web-based email account is hacked for spamming purposes they don't change your password because that would arouse your suspicion. I'd strongly recommend that you change the password to your webmail account immediately and notify your provider (Hotmail or whoever you use). BTW I work in internet software and would never personally use the Contacts feature of any web-based email product. |
