Here's a little story about a small time boi named Stanley, and a romance scammer looking to move up in the world named Spanker. Stanley is a Captain in the "Network", and he has been given a direct report, one Spanker. See the Stanley thread for the full rundown.

Spanker is currently awaiting a shipment of laptops from a woman he has been romance scammine (Just Jane). These laptops have been sent, using a phony shipping service (naturally), and they are currently being held in customs. It seems as if the sender included some pornographic material in with the shipment, and as a result customs will only release the shipment to the receivee.

The shipping company has a website that allows people with special passwords to see how many times the shipment was checked, and the IP address of the person doing the checking. It turns out that the shipments are checked, on an almost daily basis, by both Spanker and Stanley.

So what should happen next to the computers?

have them signed for with an illegible signature, so all three can have hissy fits.

^^^ Only Stanley and Spanker would have a hissy fit. Dan doesn't even know that he is involved in this.

Stanley has had a previous shipment of computers chopped by Dan and a second shipment stolen by he-who-shall-not-be-named. The first chop resulted in an up close and personal trip to see Dan.

Jayhawk, there is only one option open to you surely. Send Stanley and Spanker into a hissy fit and chasing after Dan, PLEASE!! Laughing

Safari them separately and when they get there tell Stanley that Spanker has them, tell Spanker that Dan has them and tell Dan that Stanley has them. Then get them to meet somewhere like outside the police station where the ensuing 'meeting' will likely end up in them being arrested.

Some more info: The character Jane has been telling Sp4nker that she's been getting emails from another person claiming to be him. That other person wants her to get the packages sent to another place (character Jane claims she has this ability with this shipper). He denies that anyone else knows about the packages. Sp4nker found out this morning that Jane has had dreams that come true sometimes and she had a dream last night that someone was running away with his packages (I was trying hard not to laugh when I told thim this!). Let's just say that he's getting a little alarmed right now as the packages were due to be delivered to him yesterday. He's not even noticed that two of the 8 packages are in Lome Togo. The other 6 are in Douala Cameroon.

Spank3r needs to be fraudstrated some more. He has lost three victims - two because their bank flagged his account as terrorist (the vics were brother and sister) and one because his bank failed (the vic's bank - not Spank3r's). And now his laptops are in customs. Evil or Very Mad

But it's not enough. He needs more. He does not always follow instructions and must be reminded, sometimes rather testily, by his mentor, W1cca J33st. Twisted Evil

And Dan needs some serious intervention. Email from various mafiosi doesn't seem to be fazing him. Maybe another visit from Stanley et al will light a fire under him. Twisted Evil

And Stanley needs grief simply because he's Stanley. Wink

Perhaps Dan needs a visit from Spanker? I was hoping that Shorty was up to the task, but, alas, that does not seem to be the case.

Dan has gotten too comfortable. He needs to be reminded that there are some nasty folks out there that want what he has, dead or alive.

And yes, Stanley does need grief, simply because he is Stanley. Very Happy

I upped the fraudstration factor.

I just updated the shipping to 'waiting for paperwork from originator' or some other BS for the boxes in Cameroon. The boxes in Togo are 'waiting for a plane'.

Sp4nker was going to get another phone call from me today but I seriously can't get thru. I tried calling him with both my anonymous cell and skype. No luck.

Instead of a call he got an 'urgent' email message from character Jane saying that she just noticed that the status of the shipping was on hold. She can't reach the shipping company because it's election day and everything's closed. Why didn't he didn't tell me there was a problem, etc, etc (all his fault for not being attentive Wink

). I also added another bombshell - I reminded him that I put something special in two of the packages, but I couldn't tell him what it was over email because his email may have been hacked. After I hit send, I promptly turned off my phone. Let him stew over that for a while.

Can you not let Stanley thing Spanker took them and Spanker that Stanley took them? Then they can chase each other!
