After lurking around this site for a while, as well as the sister site, I've sort of decided to start spreading the warnings of scammers round my local neighbourhood, church and other groups.

I've drafted a letter of information detailing the scams, what signs to look out for, and what to do. I was wondering if anyone would mind proof-reading it for me, to make sure that I'm not sending out false information.

I may post further updates though, when I see how the neighbourhood reacts. Plus, if some of them take me up on my offer by forwarding suspicious emails to me, then I may have a few friends for the surplus forum Laughing
