These lads need to add more people to the customer service department.They just responded this afternoon to my initial I am interested e mail.Business must be very good these days.I somehow have a feeling the cashflow may start presenting a problem though.

The Judge has sent in the application form for himself and his wife. The conference secretary may have a bit of trouble opening it, though. Twisted Evil

And the passports for the Judge and his wife have been removed by Homeland Security.

(Rather ironic, isn't it, considering that the Canadian Homeland Security Department wanted the passport info.) Mr. Green

I thought anyone under 18 isn't eligible to participate? But in the lad's latest email, he says if my 12-year old daughter has an "infant visa" I can bring her along with me. Laughing

Just sent a barrage of emails back to ask questions... one question per email, naturally.
claimed attachments missing so they resent the original email (bah, no effort there)
have now asked about: numbers of people booked/spaces remaining (I need to know how fast it's filling so as to be sure to book);
facilities for disabled guests;
information about the hotels, requesting either websites or photos.

I must scan the front and back of my passport as requested. Wonder what they want scans of the covers for, I'd have thought the insides would be more interesting, but never mind, that's what they asked for Smile

Perhaps I should scan them at 7200dpi for extra quality...

Just got a second reply to my further question - wow the conference is free all we need to pay for is hotels- that seems fair enough but have found a hotel i much prefer on trip advisor so will book that and then find another dumb question to ask Smile

do the covers seperatly rather than by opening it and using a single scan, also forget to crop of the excess white space around them and send as a bitmap in the greatest colour depth you can ( dont know if you can do 16.7 million colours as a bitmap but try.

dont know if this tallys with other peoples files or not or would indicate how many are booked before me

Well, the Judge sent his info (passport pics removed by Homeland Security, renamed .dll file as the hotel application, and M7CN S3cur3 for the money). The hotel has apparently tried to get the MTCN but whenever I check on the website I get

Titania, what is this "M7CN S3CURE" thing you're talking about? Are you able to look at a website to see if the scammer has attempted to use it?

I used the autostereogram mtcn form with my scammer.

Here was my courteous response to their latest moneygram request..

that the floors of the hotel are reinforced, and that the toilets are
reinforced to withstand a whole lot of pressure being exerted on them.
I want to avoid as much unnecessary injury and embarassment as possible.
9) Is there a large, all you can eat buffet that is fully stocked 24/7?
This is an essential requirement.
10) Do all of your tv's have access to the disney channel? My entourage
just can't get enough of High School Musical, and we would be extremely
disappointed if we were to miss any of that during our stay!

Please answer these questions as quickly and thoroughly as possible so
that I can proceed with the payment instructions.

Since I'm incredibly lazy (like a lad), I had a bit of an argument saying that I had faxed him the forms, he finally gave up.

Dr Stephen Williams - my group are hoping to stay at the Hyatt Regency in Calgary. There are 355 rooms so plenty for any delegates who would like a slightly more upmarket hotel than the 2 being offered - we are a sociable group and anyone who decides to stay would be welcome to join us in the hotel bar for drinks any of the 10 nights Smile

I like how the attachment with the hotel description changes from calling it the Queens Berry to the Berkeley part way through. It's like the mugu got tired of changing it after a while. Here is my latest reply:
