Yeah, from what I can tell the dumb son of a b**** lost my e-mail containing the second step in the format. He got a slapping for that, and I'm going to have to get to the other computer to send it to him.

EDIT: He's already missed a couple of addys, namely mine. He says only two people responded to him; he's either trying to scam me, or he didn't frickin' use the e-mail right.

I got a reply earlier today too. I kept the first reply pretty straight. Mentioned the stock market going into the toilet so I'm looking for options, and wanted to hear more about it.

Yeah, the next part of the script should be name, address, and (my favorite) Worker Identification Number.

That's the last script e-mail I'll send him. He's been pretty consistent in e-mailing me your responses, and I'm just going to make up junk. You're essentially baiting me at this point.

I'm kind of flying blind at this point. If anyone has suggestions on what we do with him now that we've got him, let's do some brainstorming.

EDIT: Also, if someone wants to step in with a phone call, PM me. You need to have an American-style accent. I can't do them, but the lad keeps asking me to talk on the phone. I've told him that warrantless wiretapping makes talking about this business on the phone risky, but he just wants to hear my voice.

@Bob - just got my initial mail from him, and sent off a quick response. Just wondering if you knew he was including something not from your initial script in his e-mail? Down at the bottom of the mail, he had this tacked onto the end, with "klik here" linking elsewhere...

^^^ Lad didn't do that. his 'puter has a virus (or whatever) that adds that to every email he sends out. If he's using his own computer, he clicked where he shouldn't have. If he's in a cafe, somebody else clicked. Very Happy

This might be more of a long-term goal, but could we manage to somehow arrange it so a big payment of $20,000 is made to you, Bob, to sort of prove that it works, and the lad will get the next (that never materializes)? Not so much a dolla chop, but kind of...

Perhaps if he were let loose and got frustrated you could take the reigns and "Oh, fine. I'll show you it works. ... There. 20 grand. See, it's easy!"

I'm the Vice-Keyholding Mistress. If I was supposed to put in my company name, be sure to have him write me back to get it... the problem with the lads is they don't really care about all this information, so they don't email you back looking for it (or passport pics, or whatever). So you should try to instill into him the vitality of getting every eensy bit of information from us... if nothing else, it wastes his time!

I might go that route. Right now we're flooding him.

A couple of days after you send him your info, I have "sent" to you your "authenticated stock certificate." Don't actually expect this trophy; this is what my character is doing to contribute to the scam. It should be convincing to you.

I keep trying to just make up words to give to him.

After that, of course, we're free to jump him through whatever hoops we please. Eventually I think this lad needs to get out, see the world.

Oh, no doubt we're flooding him. He's freaking out; he's got a whole bunch of people on his hands that want to send him money, and suddenly I've gotten a little more unhelpful. He keeps wanting me to draft all his responses, and I did that for a little bit, but now I'm down to saying things like

"Just get them to send the money to your account" (Not even sure he has an account)

and

"I've sent them the certificates, don't worry about it."

He really wants all that money, but he has no idea how to get it.
