Hi -

I posted an ad on gumtree.com and I am pretty sure that every single reply I got (almost 20) was from a MoneyGram/WU scammer. I have joined to ask - what should I do?

Some of them now have my e-mail address... should I now stop corresponding with them? It makes me so annoyed that these people are out there in such numbers!

I even got one of them to send me a WU receipt to show how it is done - the photoshopping in it is pretty bad. I was thinking of sending the same receipt back with my own Photoshopping.

But in the end... I don't think I have time to do the good work you all do.
Any suggestions?

Just stop replying - it's not worth it. Apply for a mentor and get stuck into them on your own terms.

Ignore them or reply that it has been rented/sold and then ignore them.

As suggested before read up on the various stickies and if you don't have time to bait how about telling your friends and family about the various types of scams out there so they can stay safe.
